Sulfaro is open 7 days per week 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and on Sundays from 11am until 4pm. Fully Air Conditioned for your comfort, the Showrooms are spread over two huge stores, with ample off-street parking available.

All Sulfaro Furniture is actually hand built and handcrafted individually item by item at our premises in Mitcham. We operate from our modern Studios and Workshop located directly behind the Sulfaro Showrooms. It’s all 100% Australian made using Australian materials wherever possible, and Sulfaro is 100% Australian owned. It’s not just a trick of the light as is the case with many of the larger furniture retailers who claim their furniture is 100% Australian made. It’s not. It’s 100% Australian ‘assembled’ using parts and components manufactured robotically offshore, sent disassembled to Australia then completed here to gain the ‘Australian made’ branding. Quite simply it’s not Australian made and the money you pay for such furniture is then remitted offshore to overseas manufacturers.
The Sulfaro team are all master craftsmen and artisans who individually and lovingly craft each newly created piece of Sulfaro Furniture. It’s a family tradition, first started in the early 1960s by Master Craftsman Nunzio Sulfaro and now for nearly 40 years continued by his son Santo Sulfaro, also a Master Craftsman in his own right.
