Fashion week is all about new designs. Australia’s premier Designers as well as emerging brands profile their collections to a truly engaged audience. It’s the opportunity to launch internationally with global buyers in attendance, hungry for new creativity, new vitality, new vision.
Fashion is an ever-evolving pallete – fresh, vibrant colours, new fabrics, different design applications. Each year there is something exciting, something new and different to please the most discerning audience.

Fashion week this year was held in Sydney from Monday May 15 until Friday May 19. Retail Manager, Amelia Sulfaro, and her daughter, Francesca, attended a number of the events. The Sulfaro team see such events as an opportunity to adopt new ideas in both colour and design for our exclusive range of furniture.

Trends in clothing fashion are frequently mirrored in new design directions for upholstered furniture. This is especially the case with colour selections and trending styles. Fabrics can follow very similar trends whether it’s whimsical cottons or heavy and lush velvets.
