Let’s start with an inspection of our Signature Selection. Each piece has been hand picked based on its design, quality finish and genuine popularity.

Ringwood Sofa

Here we feature the Ringwood Sofa. Available in arm chair, 2 seater to 3.5 seater, this is a truly elegant, beautiful piece of furniture. Pictured here with the Chelsea Wing Chair, this two seater is perfect for apartment or town house living.

The fabric the Sofa is dressed in is Warwick Fabrics Eastbourne Pewter with accompanying cushions in a contrasting patterned fabric by Warwick in the same collection Aylesbury Pewter. This fabric is picked up with the Chelsea Wing Chair dressed in the coordinate Warwick Winslow Pewter. Quite demure with soft lights reflecting the blues, greys and silvers of the decor, it’s bright, refreshing yet comforting.

London Sofa

The London Full Back – With a rounded full back, this is a compact sofa with low curved arms and a smooth refined finish. Pictured here as a two seater, the London is also available in 2.5, 3 and 3.5 seaters with matching armchairs as depicted here. The dark timber legs set off the sofa’s fabric Liam in the Warwick fabric collection in soft grey hues. The first of our collections is our Signature Selection. Sulfaro in our minds is in fact the signature of real European Design and Elegance. It was Nunzio Sulfaro, our patriarch who first made selections on what really did represent the true style and refinement found in those key pieces that represent our Signature Selection. It is now his son Santo that continues this tradition. Here is our first Signature Series Edition. Furniture trends for 2018-19 – A world of colour

This week let’s take a look at the trends reflected through two major European Furniture Expos – The IMM Cologne show and the Salone del Mobile Milano event, on which we have already reported..

The Lawrence Sofa and Chairs

Let’s start with Cologne and trends in living room design. It’s colour, colour and more colour – a veritable explosion of vibrant hues through all the various trade halls of this famous annual European furniture fair. Sofas, armchairs, occasional chairs and dining chairs were all presented in a wide range of strong living colours, and at this event extended to the tables and lighting. It’s almost exotic, it’s expressive and it’s individual.

It’s often the world of high fashion that defines the direction and tone of the choices made to dress furniture. One bright exuberant piece of furniture can lift a whole room.

Bright and sunny yellows as well as pastel yellows captured the eye continually whilst touring the exhibition halls in Cologne. Designers added accessories in burnt orange, combined with sideboard pads in lush grass green. Greens of all hues were featured by many designers. Pantone – the colour standard – had selected a bright living yellow green as its colour of the year for 2017. This year 2018 the colour selected is Ultra Violet.

The salons of Vienna at the turn of the 20th Century inspired a trend many see continuing into 2018-19 – a combination of deep pine green, Bordeaux red, mustard yellow and royal blue.

Dark woods, brass (replacing copper) with rich satin gold – the brass being brushed, and velvets – all creating a sumptuous splendour in interior design.
