For each individual sofa, chair or accessory Master Craftsman, Santo Sulfaro, ensures a total commitment to quality and the perfect finish. Framing is expertly constructed using premium F1 Australian Hardwood Timbers, crafted to ‘lock’, providing a firm, stable base and seat. Stainless steel springs are hand tied, selected high quality webbing is tensioned perfectly. First grade memory foam provides superb cushioning – all designed to seat you in the ultimate in comfort and support. Hand picked fabrics and fine leathers result in absolutely stunning furniture – true luxury, impeccable quality, it’s the difference that is Sulfaro.

60th Anniversary – an Australian Story of Success

This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of both the Sulfaro brand and its manufacturing base. Originally it was the late Nunzio Sulfaro who commenced the manufacturing of quality, European style furniture here in Melbourne in 1963. Nunzio was classically trained in Europe in the art of furniture making. He has passed this knowledge onto his son, Santo Sulfaro, who is now a third generation furniture maker and a Master Craftsman in his own right.

This is the Sulfaro difference. At Sulfaro the manufacturing process is ‘hands on’. It is not a production line or a machine driven process. It is a time honoured skill, a craft, an artform that creates by hand the very best in furniture.
