When shopping for new furniture most of what you see is actually imported from offshore – places like China, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. In most cases this type of furniture, the lounge suites and sofas, you view in large furniture ‘warehouses’ and furniture ‘barns’ are robotically manufactured using inferior materials. 2021 was again a surprise year.
