The story of Sulfaro began over 60 years ago here in Melbourne. The late Nunzio Sulfaro, expertly trained in the traditions of European craftsmanship and a second generation furniture maker and upholsterer, set up his new business in Melbourne.

To achieve this we select the very best in quality timbers for framing – Australian F17 hardwoods, stainless steel springs, premium memory foam for cushioning and the very finest of fabrics, leathers and accessories. We create the beautiful furniture we are renowned for. Our experienced and gifted team of Artisans not only create superb, bespoke designs they ensure that the framing ‘locks’, that there is not a stitch out of place, that the stainless steel springs are hand tied – all for your ultimate comfort and genuine support.
